Terms and Conditions

The following section, in conjunction with our privacy page, returns page and delivery page, forms our company policy. Before submitting an order we recommend that you read and understand these policies. When you submit an order you are entering into a contract with L. R. Bits / Pe4nnine Overland and you may be bound by the terms described herein. All prices quoted online are shown both including and excluding UK VAT where applicable. We make every effort to keep the prices up to date but we reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. It may be that prices are incorrectly quoted or changed due to external circumstances. We have no statutory obligation to sell goods at the price quoted if that price is incorrect.


Orders are always shipped at the first opportunity. If an item is not in stock it may be necessary to manufacture that item before it can be dispatched. In which case delivery may be delayed. If we are unable to supply items you have ordered due to them being out of stock we will contact you to inform of the delay, or to see if an alternative item would be suitable.

We aim to despatch all orders next day. In some cases this may not be possible due to nil-stocks. We will e-mail tracking details as the goods leave our premises.

We accept payment by all major credit and debit cards as well as Paypal. As of February 2008 we no longer accept personal or business cheques. UK bankers drafts are accepted.

Most on-line credit card transactions are processed through PayZone. This is one of the UK's most respected payment gateways as the work in conjunction with Barcleycard. At L. R. Bits / Pennine Overland, we do not collect or have access to your credit card details. All information is collected off-site through the PayZone website. We reserve the right to refuse acceptance of payment details if we think they are being used fraudulently.


You are free to return goods unused for a period of 30 days after delivery. Circumstances will dictate whether a full refund or an exchange is appropriate. Goods that have been used cannot be returned unless a warranty claim will be entered into.

All goods have a minimum 1 year manufacturer's warranty (unless otherwise clearly indicated). Warranty claims for faulty goods will be dealt with through us but the manufacturer will make an assessment and decide on the proper course of action.

All goods should be returned packed to the same standard as when received, to avoid damage in transit. More details on our returns policy can be found by clicking here.


We make every effort to ensure that the product images we use are accurate and up to date. All product images are either owned by L. R. Bits / Pennine Overland or are used with the permission of the originator and remain the copyright of the originator. Unauthorised use of images owned by L. R. Bits / Pennine Overland will be taken very seriously.

All product descriptions are used with the permission of the originator and remain the copyright of the originator. Manufacturer and Land Rover part numbers are used for identification purposes only and do not imply or indicate the identity of the manufacturer.


We take the satisfaction of our customers very seriously. If you feel you have received substandard information or services from us we would like to hear about it so that we can prevent the same thing from happening again. Once an order has been placed we will contact you by e-mail in order to ensure a high level of service. You will be e-mailed to notify of despatch and may also be e-mailed by the courier to ensure you are aware of when the delivery is taking place. We welcome feedback from customer and the opportunity to enable any improvements to our services.
